Artnews Projects is the experimental space of Artnews.org.
It introduces a range of young positions from other cities and countries who are invited to realize a show and present their work in Berlin. The exhibition program explores diverse curatorial and gallery practices that are estranged from their usual context and set up in a new environment. All exhibitions are collaborations with international partners.
On the 1st of October 2006 Artnews Projects presents its first exhibition with Cristian Andersen, Marc Bijl, David Haines and Lucy Wood, curated by Nieck de Bruijn, Upstream Gallery Amsterdam.
The space is located at Rosenthaler Platz, Berlin-Mitte, in the vivid neighbourhood of many young and established galleries. It is one of the oldest project spaces in Berlin, exhibiting from 1999 to 2006 as Kunstbank.
