ORDINARY-LIGHT is a photographic company based in London. Although located in England, we deal globally and collaborate with individual collectors, artists, scholars, institutions and other aficionados of photography throughout the world.
Brad Feuerhelm established the business in 2006 as a predominantly internet-based platform for the sale of vintage photography. For the past two years our focus has been on nineteenth and early twentieth century photography. We are interested in everything from photographic curiosities and vernacular images to renowned works by masters of the medium. Since the beginning of 2008 we have also showcased contemporary work by both new and established photographers.
Our aim is to present a general history of the medium, while always keeping one eye on emerging talent. In addition to selling from our premises in London, we exhibit at a number of art fairs.
