"Cadere" Kelly Warman HDV 12"38 mins 2008/2009
Kelly Warman is a British artist and writer, she currently lives and works in London. Before completing her MFA at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam Warman graduated with a BA (Hons) from Dartington College of Arts. Warman's formation is related to a larger understanding of a culture that evolves around self-performance, she is particularly interested in the translation of the interior monologue into the cinematic space. Warman's work investigates the idea of a commodity-person through staged performance and cinematic video works that draw directly from stream of consciousness writing.
