The installation "Gloria Novi Saeculi" is a multimedia "Post-Computer" experiment.  Its subject is the history of the 20th century, and it reflects, in a sarcastic way, its ambivalent legacies.

We, as the witnesses and representatives of the new century, can now look back from a certain distance and ask ourselves "What has this oh-so-promising epoch left us?"

Genia Chef develops here, in a monumental form, a theme that he first began in earlier works which dealt with the destruction of the Berlin Palace.

Destruction and creativity appear opposite each other in this installation: the bombed Berlin and opposing Mediterranean landscape, the formal language of the vanguard vs. traditional painting style, fragmentation vs. synthesis, the dynamic vs. the static.
