I dont mind if you forget me, 2004, cleaned out sentence in dirty window

The diversity of Anna Livia Löwendahl – Atomic’s art practice is grounded in/driven by a mixture of concious and uncounscious process, drawing on a variety of media where her choice of particular materials is arrived at in relation to the content, and/or the opposite.

Her work exhibits a wide repertory of ideas and forms, from the tangible to the unembodied, from collages and installations to delicate, evocative ephemeral nonobjects (mind collages).
From the visible to the absent where clues are given to that which is hidden, in what she describes as a zone between plus, minus and beyond..

Her work is charged with personal and poetic content, investigating existential questions while at the same time her own art practice and the role of art itself exists in a landscape of playful interrogation - where fusions of Lowendahl-Atomic’s personal and public life often leads to meanings that oscillate between both individual and art world commentary.

”I am interested in the space between the visible and the hidden, between the present and the absent, between the unspoken and the understood, between the forgotten and the remembered, between desire and lack, between life and death, between art and life, between you and me - the field between plus, minus and beyond…”
